The Rocket.Chat messaging service allows you to communicate in teams, groups, or individually. The service additionally supports emojis, sending files, images and videos as well as the integration of notifications from various services such as GitLab. BigBlueButton of the GWDG

The BigBlueButton video conferencing service is suitable for e-learning scenarios in addition to conventional video conferencing functions such as screen sharing and chat. It is based on HTML5, runs in the browser and requires no software installation. In addition, the service is operated at the GWDG itself and is thus under the control of the GWDG compared to commercial cloud services such as Zoom. Any user with a valid account with the GWDG and a current web browser can use this service. For web browser use, simply access https://meet.gwdg.de/. For courses it is best to use the meeting plug-in in your Stud.IP event. This way the meeting room is not assigned to you personally, but to the event. DFNconf of the DFN-Verein

The DFNconf videoconferencing service offers DFN-Verein users in the scientific community the opportunity to conduct video, audio and web conferences. The service is tailored to the needs of research and teaching and provides the central technical components required. The new platform allows you to conduct video conferences with excellent video and audio features. Other hallmarks: Use of dedicated VC systems as well as simple web-based access, maximum 23 participants. Adobe Connect continues to be available as an e-learning service.
